Who is Leopold VIII?
Leopold VIII makes Backing Track Songs: original instrumental songs for musicians to practice and jam over. The songs are composed by Leopold. We’re based in Texas.
What can I buy?
Two packs per song:

What file types do I get?
Audio is WAV (high quality). Charts and grip sheets are PDF. Videos are standard video files that play on computers, phones and tablets.
How do I pay and get my files?
Checkout is through PayPal. After you pay, your download link comes by email. Check your spam folder if you don’t see it in a few minutes.
I lost my download. Can I get it again?
Yes. Use the Redownload page (email + Merchant Transaction ID from PayPal), or write to us on the Contact page.
What if a file is broken?
If a file won’t open, is missing or is damaged, contact us within 30 days of purchase. We’ll fix it or refund you.
Can I use the music in my own videos, gigs or releases?
Packs are for personal use only. Please don’t resell, share or upload the files. Ask us first if you have another use in mind.
What are Nashville numbers?
A way to write chords by their place in the key. In the key of G, G is 1, C is 4 and D is 5. If you learn a song in numbers, you can play it in any key by counting up from the new 1.
How are the songs made?
Leopold writes each song. The band arrangements are built with Band-in-a-Box, a music production tool, then mixed and checked by us. You don’t need Band-in-a-Box to use anything you buy; the files work in any player or app.
